appearance: zestial is a very tall & thinly built spider-like demon with some notable serpent qualities. he has dark gray skin & four bright glowing pupil-less green eyes. his mouth is full of sharp teeth that protrude into his smile. he has a long forked tongue like that of a snake. when his cloak unfurls, his top pair of eyes gain red pupils.zestial's wardrobe consists of entirely dark colors with occasional accents of bright greens & reds. the silhouettes are always sharp & foreboding. much like the bright colors of a venomous creature, zestial gives warning with his attire.he is never seen without his floor length cloak & signature black top hat adorned with a prized skull & feather. nearing zestial, one can hear the distinctive sound of light taps like the patter of many spiders feet or the warning rattle of a snake.notes: notable headcanons / metas listed & linked below.

personality: Zestial is a calculating presence in any room, observing with a keen eye & waiting for the opportune moment to act. While inherently curious, he maintains a chivalrous facade, though he finds some amusement in the art of gossip. He wields his influence discreetly, for his reputation precedes him throughout the ages. Patience & meticulous attention to detail have been the keys to his longevity, & he is adept at manipulating situations to his advantage.Those who are close to him or earn his trust may witness a playful & teasing side to Zestial, though he can be ruthlessly petty towards others. However, beneath his charismatic exterior lies the heart of a demon capable of unspeakable atrocities. you were a mistake between minor royalty & the apothecary of the house's wife. raised to be the back up plan of a back up plan, studious & polite, but always taking note of the world around you. you learned, you watched, you waited. & when it was time, your father was your first kill. there's a reason your mother had gone looking elsewhere, away from the harsh reality she lived with at the time.
there were so many elixirs & poisonous herbs about, so many ways to make it look like his own choice. a spiraling letter mourning his miserable existence, no one ever noticed it wasn't his hand writing. the door had been locked from the inside after all!was it some twisted sense of justice or a god complex ? were you a bleeding heart or hungry for the control ? when others came knocking, like a web you'd weaved to sate, you agreed. ( only after procuring the evidence, of course. you did not act without reason, even then. )renowed scholar, healer & to some, a world ender. they needed help, it went against your moral code to leave them to lowlifes protected by carefully worded contracts. your methods were efficient, almost undetectable. but such hubris was a poison of it's own, slowly rotting away your insides. it went on for years, long after your mother's passing, even after you'd married.oversight on your part, too comfortable in the life you'd carved, you hadn't seen it coming. one plan gone wrong, one lapse in judgement that cost you your life. the next moment you were where you belonged, a creature of your own making that represented your sins & your death.

you became obsessed with every detail, what had gone wrong ? WHAT HAD GONE WRONG? mistakes you wouldn't make again. every move was practiced, perfect. you weren't the quickest to ascend to power, but you did so efficiently, ruthlessly, an unknown player that changed the game within the ring of pride forever. feared for abilities few knew, even fewer could speak about.

executed by accusation of treason against royalty in the 1600s.
caused an obsession with having all the information, under the belief he would've survived had he simply seen it coming.

- zestial, as a serpent / arachnid mix is cold blooded & incapable of generating his own heat.

- ideals leftover from his life often dictate his questionable moral compass. those of his stature / above ( or affiliated in someway ) are always treated with some level of respect.
